1. Purpose

This Memorandum of Understanding ("MoU") governs the terms under which your company voluntarily submits supply chain traceability data ("Assessment Data") to Project Manhattan for the purpose of generating a Manhattan Risk Index (MRI) score.

2. Data Collection

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide during this assessment. This includes product details, supply chain stage responses, Key Data Element (KDE) availability declarations, and evidence files you choose to upload.

3. Non-Disclosure

Project Manhattan agrees that your Assessment Data will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to any third party, including buyers, regulators, competitors, or any government body, without your prior written consent. Your data is used solely for the purpose of calculating and delivering your MRI score.

4. Data Retention

Evidence files uploaded during the assessment are retained only for the duration of the review process. Upon your written request, all Assessment Data — including uploaded files and responses — will be permanently deleted from our systems within 72 hours.

5. Self-Declaration

All responses submitted are self-declarations. Project Manhattan does not independently verify the accuracy of information provided unless engaged separately for a Manhattan Verified assessment. A self-declared score does not constitute a certification or regulatory approval.

6. Right to Withdraw

You may withdraw from this assessment at any time before submission. Upon withdrawal, no data will be retained. After submission, you may request full deletion of your data by contacting us at privacy@projectmanhattan.io.

7. Limitation of Liability

Project Manhattan shall not be held liable for any commercial, legal, or regulatory consequences arising from the self-declared MRI score. The score is an indicative risk assessment tool only.
